The HSR Level 1 course is for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) who have not received any prior training. It should be undertaken in the first year of their 3 year term of office. Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) and Deputy Health and Safety Representatives (DHSRs) are entitled to attend this course of training which is approved by the SafeWork SA Advisory Committee. A HSR or DHSR cannot issue a Provisional Improvement Notice (PIN) until they have completed the HSR1 course.
This course is designed for the HSR and DHSRs final year of office. The course is also approved by Safework SA and builds on the skills and knowledge already gained in the Level one and Level Two workshops.
This one day HSR workshop will build on the learning you have already undertaken during your 3 year term and refresh your knowledge of legislation and hazard management.

This course is ideal for all upper and middle level managers who would like to learn how to identify and deal with bullying and harassment in the workplace.
This course includes warden roles and responsibilities, planning and conducting evacuations, fire safety and prevention, fire classes, practical fire fighting with extinguishers and fire blankets, fire classes, initial response to critical incident, contacting emergency services, emergency codes and practical responses to emergency situations applying the skills learned throughout the session.
This course is ideal for all senior managers who wish to gain a greater understanding of their responsibilities as Officers under the WHS Act 2012. All participants completing the session will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Employers and employees must have the support of their managers and supervisors to meet the legal requirements placed on businesses by the work health safety legislation. This one day course is designed to provide an overview of WHS responsibilities together with practical and up to date advice to assist businesses to effectively manage work health and safety risks and meet obligations under the new WHS laws.
This training course outlines the role of workplace inspections in an effective hazard management system. Completion of this training and implementation of the workplace inspection process back at the workplace will assist individuals and organisation’s to demonstrate they are taking reasonable steps to minimise health and safety risks to their workers and meet their legal requirements.
