This full day seminar provides an opportunity to share practical case studies on how the application of human factors and ergonomics can improve workplace health and safety, increase job satisfaction, staff morale and productivity. Whether you're new to ergonomics or interested in expanding your skill base, there's something here for you.

The afternoon workshop with Dr Matthew Thomas will look at how you teach essential non-technical skills like teamwork, decision making, communication, assertiveness and leadership. Using examples from healthcare, mining, rail and aviation safety, Matthew will explore the issues of human error and how to integrate our knowledge of behavioural, psychological and social issues into workplace safety.
