Manual Handling and Safety behaviour Training
Smart Health has been delivering training to workers across a wide variety of industries for more than 15 years. Our focus has always been to personalise our training sessions to make them more relevant to each worker, in each industry.
Manual Handling Training
Manual Handling programs focus on analysing the needs of the training group. This can vary from ergonomic workstation set-up to conventional heavy lifting. By talking through the day-to-day tasks of the group, we can change how people approach their work and how they use their bodies.
Our use of video analysis during these training programs allows workers to see how they are currently moving, then correct flaws in those movement patterns. This has an immediate learning effect which is impossible to replicate with conventional formats.
Smart Health has developed training packages aimed at improving the overall safety culture of your workplace. Rather than focusing on changing specific movement patterns, these programs examine the motivations for higher-risk workplace behaviour, then train employees as on-site workplace coaches to improve safety and decrease the likelihood of injury.
