Paul Kells returning to Australia to support new safety initiative for young workers

Thursday 18 September 2008

Tom Phillips, Presiding Member of the SafeWork SA Advisory Committee, invites you to support the safety standard for young people entering the world of work.

A life-altering event led Paul Kells to build safe Communities Canada, in 1996. On 19 November 1994, Paul's 19-year-old son Sean died of injuries suffered in a workplace explosion. From this tragedy he established Safe Communities Canada and he also inspired the development of national Safe Community organisations in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Paul Kells is returning to Australia in October 2008 to support the Passport to Safety program, which is supported by SISA, SA Unions, Business SA and SafeWork SA. Don't miss your opportunity to meet Paul and discuss this important initiative.

Please visit the Events section of the SISA website for further details.
